This site houses information for current and former Service Members of the Colorado National Guard, along with their Supporters, Families and Children! Whether you are looking for assistance, information, or just looking to connect, this website is for you!
Occasionally the Family Program Office will receive donated tickets to hand out to CONG Service Members and their Families. In order to facilitate this process, the Family Program is implementing a pre-registration process. All Colorado National Guard Service Members, Spouses/Partners, Civilian Employees and Contractors are eligible to register! Register today at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TicketRegistration ! To view or print our Pre-Registration flyer, click here!
Service Members, Families, Supporters and Community Members of the Colorado National Guard can now sign up for our weekly update email, The Connection. This email will replace the email that is sent by the Family Readiness Support Assistants starting July 1st, 2014. Starting now, you can sign-up to receive these emails! When you register, you will begin receiving a weekly email that updates you on all changes, events, trainings, offerings, etc. from the Family Program Office and related offices. You may receive additional communication in the event of a state emergency (i.e. fires or floods). That’s it! You can opt out at any time if you do not like the format. This email is offered as a way to keep you connected to the Family Program Office without having to search out information. Get connected, stay connected!
While browsing on our website, you may come across this symbol, especially if you looking at our staff contacts page. This symbol indicates that the person whose contact information you are looking at has completed the ‘Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training’ course. This course gives its graduates the skills they need in order to ask the appropriate questions to determine if someone is suicidal and to assist that person in getting the help they need. For more information, click on the logo to the left, or click here, to see a complete listing of those individuals who have completed the ASIST course.
Similarly, you will see the two markers to the left, denoting individuals who are trained in assisting others with Resilience. The ‘RTA’ designation identifies those who are ‘Resilience Training Assistants’ and the ‘MRT’ designation identifies those who are ‘Master Resilience Trainers’. Click here for more information!
