A message from the Chaplain:

Greetings COARNG Families,

There’s still time to register!

We’re excited to announce a Strong Bonds Family Event coming on September 16-18.  This event will involve both parents and children for activities and training based on the 7 Habits of Healthy Families curriculum.  Take some time with your family to have fun and grow together.

The event will be held at Silver Cliff Ranch in Nathrop, CO (south of Buena Vista).  This facility features beautiful polished Timberpeg buildings and cabins surrounded by aspen, a hot springs fed swimming pool, a large carpeted gym, game rooms, volleyball court, and the beautiful “silver cliff” mountain in the background.  Upon arrival Friday night, we’ll gather around a bonfire to make s’mores and get to know each other. Saturday and Sunday morning your Chaplains and Family Program’s Child and Youth Program staff will creatively teach the 7 Habits.  We have a lot of great things planned, and it will be a memorable experience for all.  Each family will have a private half of a cabin, including bathroom and 7 twin beds.  Lodging, food, and training costs are all free, courtesy of the Strong Bonds program.  Childcare will be available for children 0-5 yrs.

Please note:  Programing is for families with children 6 – 18 years old, therefore you must have a child in this age group attending in order to register for this event.

Sign up today!  This is our most popular event of the year, and space is limited.
