Join us for Colorado Freedom Memorial’s 5th Anniversary!

You only get one chance to celebrate a 5th Anniversary, and the Colorado Freedom Memorial’s ceremony this year will be one to remember. The day will start with a pancake breakfast at 8:30am and include military static displays and surprise guests. Then at 10am, the 5th annual Colorado Remembers event will include a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, dedication of a new flag pole that permanently flies the Merchant Marine Flag, the beautiful voices of the Sound of the Rockies Men’s Chorus, and the unveiling of “Homes Embrace,” which will be the final resting place of the soil received in 2017 from eight American cemeteries overseas where Colorado fallen lie.

Following the Colorado Remembers ceremony, from 11:30am to 2pm, the grounds of the Memorial will be opened for music, military re-enactors, a BBQ lunch, a remarkable Vietnam Helicopter Pilots exhibit, guided tours of the Colorado Freedom Memorial and much more.
