FREE Admission to all State Parks in August for Military

Active duty, Veterans, and National Guard members are admitted free into Colorado’s state parks during the month of August. The Service Member or Veteran must show proof of military service (photo ID or DD-214) to receive this benefit. All other applicable park fees such as camping or fishing would still apply.

Pick up your August Military Pass

Any state park office or Colorado Parks and Wildlife office can issue a free August pass.

Additional Military Benefits

Each November 11, Veterans Day, Service Members and Veterans receive free entry into all state parks.

A vehicle displaying a disabled Veteran license plate receives year-round free entry to all state parks.
