All About Autos – 15-17Aug18

August 7, 2018|Posted in: Child and Youth

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to join us for our 2nd annual “All About Autos” series. We had a great time learning, doing, and playing last year, so it’s worth repeating. This series is designed to teach soon-to-be and new drivers some very important aspects of automobile operation and care.

  • Night one will be classroom education to include Choice Point records, claims, safe driving practices, and other important topics.
  • On the 2nd night, they will meet at a real-world garage and, under the supervision of a licensed mechanic, perform an oil change, a tire change/rotation, and learn how to check all fluids and the importance of a regular maintenance schedule.
  • On night 3, we’ll have a blast racing remote control cars at Mohr RC Raceway!

We will provide dinner on all three nights.

All costs for this program are paid on your behalf by the COARNG Youth Program.

Locations and times:
Night 1, Wed, Aug 15th: Family Program Office in Centennial  6pm-8:30pm
Night 2,  Thur, Aug 16th: The Garage in Englewood, 6-8pm
Night 3, Fri, Aug 17th: Mohr RC in Aurora, 6-9pm

The youth who attended last year loved this program! So don’t wait, register by email to Lance Ellis at lance.k.ellis2.ctr@mail.mil. Open until spaces are full.

I hope to hear from you soon and see your teens at this year’s All About Autos series!
