Student Loan Interest Exemption during Qualifying Service

Service members are exempt from paying interest for up to 60 months on certain student loans while serving in an area that qualifies them for special pay. Service members and veterans may receive a refund if they overpaid interest during previous periods of qualifying service. Scholarships for Military Children

Defense Commissary Agency is Offering Scholarships for Military Children! Enrollment opens December 15th. Military families have two scholarships (listed below) designed just for military kids to help ease rising college costs. The Fisher House Foundation administers the Scholarships for Military Children Program and the Heroes’ Legacy Scholarship.
