The VA Vet Center Call Center, formerly the Combat Call Center, makes referrals to 300 Vet Centers around the country for combat vets, their family members, and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma. Our phone number is 877-WAR-VETS (877-927-8387). We are open 24/7/365 and are staffed by combat vets, some of whom are licensed mental health providers. END OF FISCAL YEAR TA GUIDANCE Friday, Sept. 15 (until 11:59 P.M. EST) is the last day for Soldiers to request tuition assistance (TA) funding for classes that begin on/before Sept. 30 due to the Army’s fiscal year close-out. There will be no exceptions. Soldiers will be able to enroll in fiscal 2017 classes after Sept. 15 using the self-pay functionality to pay for enrollments out-of-pocket. The Military and Family Life Counselor Program includes Personal Financial Counseling to help you and your family manage finances, resolve financial problems, and reach long-term goals such as getting an education, buying a home and planning for retirement.
